Bank of America Home Mortgage Rates

It’s time again to update you on the latest with Bank of America home mortgage rates.  When we last looked at them, in May, they were doing fairly well compared to other banks nationally.  We here at Peak Personal Finance know that several of our readers are interested in or are using Bank of America home loans for their own home mortgage, so we’re keeping up on changes there.

As before, we’re assuming qualifying credit, a reasonable down payment (5-10%), and a home value at or below the purchase price.  These numbers, of course, are an illustration and will vary by circumstance and geographic location for the loan.  With all of that, Bank of America mortgage interest rates have dropped since we last looked and are highly commentitive amongst the best home mortgage rates right now.

For a 30-year fixed rate mortgage, the APR is a low 5.286% APR with 1 point given.  A 15-year fixed rate is 4.918% APR with 1.125 points given for a great BAnk of America home loans rate.

Those who prefer an adjustable rate mortgage (ARM) will find a best home mortgage rates of 4.008% APR with 1.125 points given on a 5/1 ARM.  Dropping that to 1 point lowers the APR to 3.997%.

Those who need more flexibility can get a combination 10/20 (total 30) loan, fixed rate, interest-only loan for 5.889% APR with 0.875 points.
