ING Direct Online banking services can also be accessed via phone or even online through your smart phone (like an iPhone).
The online banking at ING Direct gives you access to you brokerage accounts, allows you to check balances, holdings, and recent activity as well as place and confirm trades. You can get real-time quotes, news, commentary, and more and do it all from one dashboard with one site.
If you have ING retirement accounts (401k, IRA, etc.), you can access those through ING Online banking as well. You can make allocations and investment changes to your manageable accounts and check the status, current rates of return, etc. as well.
Overall, there are great things to be found at ING internet banking services. Definitely worth trying if you’re an ING Direct customer.
I’ve been an ING direct customer for a while now, and they are pretty good to deal with. The only main issue I have with them is that they are not very good at personalized service; whereas most other banks will meet with you for say, a mortgage approval, and negotiate with you depending on how far out the date is and other factors, ING basically offers a “take it or leave it” service. This can work out good for you, but in my case it basically meant I couldn’t use their services since I did not fit in their specific criteria when it came to the closing date.

I have used ING direct for about two and half years now and I have never had a problem with them. I really like the features they offer, everything is laid out in an easy to ready, find, and comprehend fashion. I recommend ING direct to my friends. They really are a great way to save!
