		<description>I have to say I have not found this to be true with credit cards, especially balance transfers.  I understand it is more common with department store offers, for example, buy an entire bedroom set with no money down, no payments for 18 months. It&#039;s still a good idea to check with your credit issuer to know with confidence if the interest is deferred or not.</description>
